Overweight or obese children are likely to become overweight adults. Obesity and being overweight is linked to many serious health risks in both children and adults, such as type 2 diabetes, cardiovascular problems, respiratory illnesses, joint and movement problems and psychological disorders. Cow's milk contains a different type of protein than breast milk. This is good for calves, but human infants can have difficulty digesting it. Bottle-fed infants tend to be fatter than breast-fed infants, but not necessarily healthier.
